Ofsted & School Performance
Ofsted Reports
In May 2024 Bishop's Cleeve Primary Academy received an ungraded inspection from Ofsted. This used to be known as an ungraded inspection and is conducted when a school is due an inspection and has not reported any significant changes in school data since the last inspection and therefore does not present as a concern to Ofsted.
Bishop's Cleeve Primary Academy has consistently preformed well academically and in relation to pupil attendance and therefore Ofsted felt it appropriate to undertake an ungraded inspection in May 2024.
We were very pleased to retain our 'good' grading at the end of this recent visit.
In an ungraded inspection - as the name would suggest - the inspection team are not able to change the grade that the school is awarded, but is only able to verify that the school continues to perform well. Therefore the highest grade we could have acknowledged was good.
You will notice, from reading the report, that several aspects of our school have the potential to be judged as outstanding. Our next inspection, in 4 years time, will be a graded inspection.
