Gloucestershire County Council, will shortly be undertaking embankment stabilisation works on a section of the A435 Evesham Road near Cheltenham Racecourse to repair and support the highway.

 The proposed works are due to take place from early November for approximately 14 weeks, during which time a single lane closure will be in place. Access will be maintained for landowners to the adjacent fields within the works area and one lane will remain open to allow continued traffic flow.

 Please also note that closure for hedge clearance will commence from 28th October to the 1st November between 09:30 and 15:30.

Delays could be expected during this time so please plan your journey ahead. They will be writing to residents shortly in conjunction with installing information boards located on the site.
