Parent Advisory Group
As part of a multi-academy trust, we are no longer required to have a local governing body because we have a board of trustees to whom we are ultimately accountable. However, parental voice in the form of constructive feedback is important to us when shaping our individual school curriculum and when making choices which directly impact on the pupils within our school and their families. Therefore, each of the schools within the GLA are forming a Parent Advisory Group, or PAG. The group will meet formally three times a year with a set agenda determined by the school leaders ahead of time. The meeting will take place in the evening and will be formally minuted by a clerk. The purpose of these meetings will be to gather feedback from the parents about curriculum design and any changes which are being implemented within the school.
